Busy busy month October is, young Jedi!!

I spent the early afternoon with this chunker today. I underestimated what props I needed to bring along, she *barely* fit in my apple basket! Nothing like already being more than 20 lbs and only 6 months old!

And Angie, the white blanket stayed in the prop bucket this time so I wouldn't even be tempted to blow it out :thumb

1. Couldn't get much of a smile out of her, but she did give me some priceless expressions!!

2. I know, *technically* it's not perfect, but I couldn't resist. We handed it to her and it went straight in her mouth. Shame it was plastic, she seemed like she REALLY wanted to take a bite.

3. Look *really* closely in the reflection in her eyes and you can see her 7 lb fur baby brother on the window sill. He wasn't too happy about me using *his* window for her shoot.

4. The hat is what made me click the shot, the look on her face is what made me keep it.

(Side note: I asked my just-turned 7 year old how I set it up and he very matter of factly said "You have your ring light over here shining on her and you clicked the camera from over here" using his hands to show me. He had it half right, I was just proud of him for getting as much right as he did)

6. I acquired the apples and the basket for a friend of mine's newborn shoot, she's a teacher, so of COURSE we're going to use apples. I just had to test it out on Mia first. She *barely* fit in that basket.
