Uploaded Photo's losing Color

My photo's don't seem to hold their color and sharpness when I upload them to dgrin. I will upload an image and then preview it next to the actual digital image and they always look dull & flat. Most of the time I end up canceling the upload rather then display something that doesn't represent the shot well. I have tried many different settings, bit it doesn't seem to make much difference. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks

How are you processing your photos? What software, platform, and colorspace? How are you putting them on Dgrin, by attachment? Do you have a website you can just link your photos from (much better)... ?

Normally I shoot RAW, I work in Photoshop CS4, I output with sRGB although I have tried AdobeRGB without better results. I currently upload the files as jpeg attachments and I have also tried gifs and pdf's. I have not tried linking the photo's to a 3rd party website.

Also your browser can make a huge difference. Internet Exploder versus Firefox, Firefox is better. Safari versus Firefox, Firefox is better. I have compared them side by side and it is noticeable. You might also want to check out these blog posts http://blogs.smugmug.com/great-prints/2005/06/25/smugmug-alters-my-colors/ http://blogs.smugmug.com/great-prints/2008/05/29/smugmug-alters-my-colors-updated/ And I would agree with Andy's suggestion, my pictures look better on SmugMug and are happier & safer than when I self host the images on my domain.

Those three attached images of you I've checked, are untagged. By this they should appear almost the same in any browser when they are in sRGB, except of some coloring intents which might be applied f.e. by FireFox.
In case they are in aRGB and untagged, browser like IE > V.9 might show them desaturated.
Make sure you tag / embed sRGB.

I uploaded a shot a couple of days ago titled "Autumn in Wisconsin" I really pushed the vibrance and saturation. That seemed to help.

That's going to ruin the shot when you use it elsewhere. The issue is what others have suggested--color space. Most browsers work well with sRGB. Try making sure the sRGB profile is embedded in the image when you post it.
