Hi,

How do I embed a video clip into a forum thread (ie you will see a still image instead of a link but when click its a video runnung) instead of posting a link and driving your viewers to your smugmug site.

thanks

    Hi - I tried the above and I am having trouble - I selected the "Embed for Video" option and embeded it in the HTML section of my wordpress blog... here is the result...

    What I would like, obviously is the video embeded directly into the Blog - Anyone know what is going wrong?

    I just enbeded a video in my blog here. I copied the link directly from the
    Share button > Get a link > Embedbable Links > Video embed:iPod/DVD

    Resulting code pasted in blog.
    <iframe frameborder="0" scrolling="no" width="640" height="360" src="http://api.smugmug.com/services/embed/1327732655_fSPrh3p?width=640&height=360"></iframe&gt;

    As Allen says, your text should have been surrounded by iframe tags but they seem to have been stripped off for some reason. I don't know but I'm guessing that you inserted the code from Smugmug as a link. What you need to be able to do is to switch from WYSIWYG type editing into HTML editing so you can just paste in the complete code that you copied from your site. Is that possible?

    Thanks for the help - Actually, I used the iframe link and posted it to the blogs HTML section. Apparantly the blog itself (wordpress.com) does not accept iframe =/

    I have a post in their forum looking for another solution - does anyone here have any ideas?
