I was having way too much fun with paperclips yesterday. What do you all think? Does it hold visual intrest? Too bright? Too silly? Thoughts? Postive or negative I'm all ears :)

Here's the shot:

Thanks so much for any comments or feedback.

    Hey Kelly,

I like this shot a lot. It has great colors and the overall management of the scene is well handled: good composition, structure, and balance. Well done.thumb.gif

You'll get a lot more response and comments about your work if you'll post your shots directly to the forum. There's a tutorial that's posted on the forum that is easy to follow that will help you do that.

Good luck. I hope to see more of your work.

I always wanted to lie naked on a bearskin rug in front of a fireplace. Cracker Barrel didn't take kindly to it.

Thanks so much Tom for the feedback. I wasn't sure if it was too busy or flashy. I wanted color, vibrancy and a fun feel...a lot of expections from paperclips. Glad it worked for you. I appreciate your input. Thanks :)

I agree with Tom that you'll get a better response if you include the image itself, not a link. It's just so much work to click on a link rolleyes1.gif.

Very nice image. Great color. One nit for me is the faint reflection (if that's what it is) at the bottom of the two blue clips. I think it would be more fun if they were just pointing outward without the suggestion of another inward line. Know what I mean?

I liked the next shot - of the pencils even better. Reminds me of grade school...can almost smell the pencils being sharpened.

    Nice!

Hi. I really liked both of them and the use of natural light and reflective surfaces really make the shots for me. Well done.clap.gif
