Sebring SCCA in Harsh Light

these were taken last weekend at Sebring International Raceway. Mid to late morning. I tried to tame the light with a circular polarizar and just tried some different areas to see what i could come up with. There wasnt a cloud in the sky!!!!!!:rolleyes All were taken with a D300 and a 18-200 lens in manual mode.

They look pretty good to me. You've managed to keep detail in the shadow areas while not having the rest of the image completely blown out. If these were my shots I might try to get a bit more saturation to the colors. That would be about it.

Triumph TR3, I'm guessin' mid fifties. A school chum of mine had one, he used to beat me off the line - but I used to catch him in the corners with my Alpha Romeo Sprint with independent suspension...
