Reprocess of older Yosemite Pic

Hello, been a while since I have posted here, new job, wedding, etc. but since I just got back from my honeymoon I wanted to start looking at some pictures I have online and try to improve them. I am still fairly new to processing pics and this particular picture has plagued me for some time so I wanted to try and redo it.
So I know its greatest downfall is its lack of depth-of-field but there isn't really anything I can do about that now so I thought I would tackle its next downfall which is color, mainly its blue tint throughout the picture. I am adding the original unedited and my most recent edited version. If you are so inclined I would appreciate opinions and ideas/changes on how it could be improved.
Thank you in advance for your time.

I like both your color and B&W versions but particularly like your second B&W attempt. You brought some detail out of the shadows while still maintaining a good amount of overall contrast. Nice shot!

Absolutely. The greens are greener, the sky is bluer and the rock is more defined. The image appears to have been shot midday which makes the photo a bit flat. I think the B&W works better in this case. Still, both are nice images.
I appreciate all the comments.
