The first bird I saw this morning - American Bittern

This week, I have had a lot of success finding an American Bittern at the Viera Wetlands. Today, it was the first bird I saw, and it was in some sweet light.........

In that morning glow it's hard to tell it from a Green Heron. (no telling color)

Thank you, Ric. Of course, the feathers on a American Bittern are not as well defined as a Green Heron. Even in the morning glow, the outlined feathers on the Green Heron are very distinct.
