Canon SX30IS handy for street shooting

When the dslr weighs me down on the bike, I always have my superzoom compact Canon SX30 with me. It draws less attention and the zoom reach is nothing short of amazing. It catches things I otherwise wouldn't.

    I hate seeing homeless people.. tape for shoes, plastic bags.. what a sin.

    Politicians and special interest groups spend *millions* of dollars on ad buys- what a waste!

    Take that money and divert it to the homeless and battered women instead.

    I think the most heartbreaking part of these two photos...on the second picture, despite how difficult his life is, he still manages a smile. Very weary, but a smile nonetheless. No matter how tough it is, there's always SOMETHING to smile about.
