C&C always welcome.

Was out street shooting today and stumbled on this--I thought it a possibility for the challenge.

Cool! It has a Picasso feel to it.

Maybe try some different processing and crop some of the right side to lose some of the background.

Great idea! - I agree with trying some fancy processing to it...

I processed so many times that I finally got tired and this was the end result. I do have to go back and try and get it right. I like the Picassoish comparison:) maybe I can work with that.

    Glad you like it.

You are right--I don't think a subtle approach will work on this. I think I need to go a little crazy:)

    awwww thanks Chris.
I have been monitoring the challenges for a while. I've been mostly street shooting, but mainly I still can't figure out why the date taken is gone from my EXIF. So I kind of gave up for a bit--but I liked this so much I decided to shoot and try and figure out the EXIF before the due date.
    Wish me luck:)

I really, really like this effort!

What kind of work-flow are you using: EXIF? MAC or PC, etc?

What a really cool shot. I love it, though I agree with the suggestion to crop a little off the right side--especially since those mirrors don't include your reflection.

    Nicely done. thumb.gif

I'm using a PC with Windows 7 but it all went to pot when I switched over to LR3 from the free Picnik. Since then I haven't been able to get the "date taken" info on the exif only the "date modified".
I have also tried to process the photos with the olympus software I used before and it's gone there too. Don't know what happened.
It has not interfered with my processing of the shots and I very much like LR3, but it has taken away my ability to enter into the challenges :cry.
I've had two decent images I thought challenge worthy go to waste grrrrrr.

Thanks Sherry and Jenn. I will be recropping--maybe using a square crop.

This happened to me too, but only sometimes - I don't know why...

In the last time by exporting the jpg from LR3, I got only the exif for the date taken, but not for the date modified
(which is not important anyway, but why?)

I noticed that if I export them as psd and import them in PS, when save them as jpg I get the correct exif.

I just did a google search for :exif in LR3 and found some things:
