"Right Here Waiting For You" - Richard Marx

It’s funny how fads, eras and single events can label someone or something. Think of the following people; Richard Nixon, Bill Buckner and Dolly Parton. The first thing that probably comes to mind is Watergate, 1986 World Series and… I think you get my point.

Unfortunately, many of the people who get labeled are musicians. Mostly because their music or looks were so in tune with the era that people can’t get past it and see the genius of their music.

A perfect example of this is Richard Marx. Most people can't get past the 80’s mullet or his ballads that made up that era. Unfortunately, those people are missing out on one of the best singer/songwriters in the business.

Below, are a few images I took of Mr. Marx on his acoustic tour last week.

Great shots! I bet all your shots would look stunning in B&W too! I like #3 and #5 a lot! thumb.gifthumbthumb.gif

I hope you don't mind but I can't resist working on your 5th image in B&W. :D (Attaching images seems to soften the image a little bit though. ne_nau.gif)
Sitting quietly, doing nothing. Spring comes and the grass grows by itself.

The 5th shot is my favorite too. Nice job with the B&W conversion.

Agreed but it's the venues lighting and not anything done in post or in the camera.
