Winchester Wedding
Hi dgrin! It's been a while since I've posted any images. I need an editing break, so it seems like a good time!
I posted this couple's save-the-date shoot last winter. They were great fun and really interested in the photography. All c&c and comments greatly appreciated, as always. :lust

Funny, when I read the title of the thread I was thinking "Winchester, VA but maybe it's in the UK"
Love the "Loudoun Street Mall" shot.

Neal - yes, not too far from you! I loved that they wanted to do a photo walk from the ceremony site to the reception. Their day was planned to maximize the photo opportunities - I could kiss them!

Any B&G that give you that many opportunity for pictures is just awesome!! I'm thinking they need a big print or two of their favorite for that!

bow I have to ask...is the color popped in PP or mostly just sooc like that? When I try for that effect I just end up with over PP photos. Amazing work there!!

l.k. - I'm with you, I gave them the save-the-date pro bono because I was so excited to shoot this one.
VayCayMom - thank you for the compliment - these are definitely processed! The faded vintage-y look is so popular right now, but I'm a color/contrast addict. My favorite tools for popping the colors are pushing the blacks (Don't fear the clipped black channels...BE the clipped black channels!) and curves. I apply a linear contrast curve to almost everything. If it's too much, I'll either turn down the percentage on the layer or I'll mask out the areas where I don't want it applied. Hope that's helpful!
Looking at them all together, I may have over-done 17 a smidge. :O
Thanks again!!
