#2: I love the top part (from the tummy up), but the bottom part kills the it for me

A crop of including just her upper half in #2 would make that image superb. The curves and lighting on her lower body are not flattering in that shot.

I understand you wanted to keep the ratio and avoid shoing the right end of the bench, but I think the key here is kepping lot of negative space on top/right. Bench you can clone to the right (if you really want to), but I wouldn't worry even about that.
When you go for "dynamic", you go all the way. You already got the lighting, the pose, why skimp on space?
Just a thought...
