Had to go into the city yesterday, so spent the afternoon wandering around the Botanic Gardens with camera in hand. Apparently, it is still baby bird time in Melbourne.

Had a wonderful afternoon of wandering around with the camera, but ended up with very few keepers out of about 400 shots. I don't know how you guys get so many excellent captures :)

I'm the same way so far with my attempts at critters, shoot about 400-500 and get 1 or maybe 2 keepers worth displaying, learning as i go :)

Kithylin, I'm still learning too - I suspect that I always will be learning, 'cause there's always room for improvement.
