client proof review?

here's how i've been handling proofs for clients:
  • i upload unedited photos to gallery
  • send link to client(s)
  • have them make a list of photos they like
  • email me the list
  • i edit those photos and
  • upload them for printing
so, is this the best way to handle this? is this something i should be doing via events marketing? or is there a better way?

    does no one else actually show lots of proofs to clients before processing? any tips would be appreciated...

    Use Events, so the client has their own folder of favorites that they've signified by using the heart icon.
