I have only posted a few photos to the DGrin forum in the macro area. I took this photo a few weeks ago while on vacation in Colorado. Landscapes are something I'd like to get more into since I generally shoot close ups. This is way outside my box. Any comments are appreciated on how to improve etc. Thanks for looking.

Nice colors and DOF. For me, I'd rather see it as a pano crop without the foreground. The grass detracts from the shot, IMO. I do hope to see more landscapes from you--you are off to a nice start!

Nice shot! I do the same with my wide "scapes"; crop out the foreground that is usually not that interesting and let the distant panorama speak for itself...here's one I had to treat the same way, for the same reason.
