OK – I know I promised to have these pictures up last weekend but I ran into a computer glitch and then I was out of town all this week. I just got back into town today so here are the late images . . . I took the advice and turned down the power on my flash by ½ . . . here are the results:

LMK if you think this is an improvement.

Shutter Priority at 400/sec – ISO 640 – Flash at ½ power - cropped for 4 X 6 Pictures.

Exposures look pretty good. But the biggest issue in these is the red-eye. You need to get your flash further away from your camera. Next, it looks from these like you're standing rather than sitting/kneeling. Getting lower will really help with perspective.

Thanks john - Next season I might toy with mounting my flash on the mono-pod . . . there might be one more game left that I can make and that will be it for the season so I won't be shelling out the cash for that setup for one game.

I would have liked to kneel on the ground but up here in NE SD the end of October gets a little frosty. After kneeling a couple of times on the cold ground I tend to get a little stiff in the knees. Next season I will do more kneeling than standing. Thanks for the advice . . . I will take all I can get.
