HS Football - Oct 27, 28, 29th

From the 27-29th. Shot with the D300 + 200-400 f4. While I had my concerns going into the season, I can definitely say that after the regular season is now complete, I really do prefer this combination over the D3 + 400 2.8 combo last year for high school level shooting.

And, tell me about it. They've started pushing for FNL games all the time now, but with the way the system works up here -- the teachers are the volunteer coaches ... most aren't willing to give up their nights for football.

Because of it, I don't even bother shooting TNL/FNL games because I can get those few select teams on the road in the day. I'm spoiled, without a doubt ... but I love having it.

You and me both. Some schools around here have $$$$$, some don't. 2 weeks ago I was shooting 1/400@2.8 ISO 1600. Last week I was shooting in the "pit", 1/250 (max) @ 2.8, ISO 5000. Talk about suckage. Days would be so much better...
