Great shots, Ric. That 7D really makes the 100-400 sing, eh?

    Thanks, Joel. :D

I wish the 7D files were a little cleaner (noise)...but otherwise it's a great camera for the money.

Lovely series! Wonderful DoF and focus and detail. Some day I'll take pictures like this. I hope.

    Lovely set Ric! clap.gif

About the 7d noise - have you had a chance to see if the smaller RAW file is any better?

    Nice shots, Ric!

House Finches have taken over our feeder. They keep most of the more interesting birds away. Nice comp and detail on the second shot.

Are you using CS4 or CS5 for processing?

Yep...HFs come in mass and eat like pigs. ne_nau.gif

CS5...not as smooth as CS4...little hiccups from time to time...no big deal. Content-Aware Fill clap.gif Lasso that ugly stuff and hit delete on the BG layer...ugly stuff automagically disappears!

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"
