I know this is probably going to seem like an odd question to you guys but:

What is the oldest version of photoshop that will open and manipulate *.DNG raw files?
Sony Alpha SLT-A35 16.5 MP DSLR
Minolta AF Zoom 70-210 F/4.5-5.6
Minolta AF Zoom 35-70 F/3.5-4.5

I found this, which may help:

    http://www.shockwaveplayer.biz/products/dng/
DNG is supported by Adobe® Photoshop® CS5, CS4, CS3, CS2, and CS, as well as Photoshop Elements 8, 7, 6, 4, 3, and all versions of Photoshop Lightroom
Canon 7D and some stuff that sticks on the end of it.

Yeah i found similar results over at Wikipedia (link to the adobe section) looks like i'm going to have to try CS for working with DNG, hope it works somewhat on a old P3 1.2 laptop, we shall see.

    Thanks for the info, too.

EDIT: For anyone that wonders, the minimum to read *.DNK files produced by the CHDK add-on bios for the Canon S3 IS is Photoshop 9.0 (CS 2).
