Your photo is fine and well done technically but it needs a little "wow" factor. You might want to consider trying this Ray of Light tutorial to bring out some of the sun's rays:

Try it in both color and B&W to see which strikes your fancy.

Actually, I live VERY close to both.

Thanks for the PS tips for streaming light, I can't wait to sit down and try it out. I just got the Tokina 11-16mm f2.8 lens and wanted to see how the sharpness is on the edges of the lens and liked this one as well.

Everything looks nice and crisp on that last one -- at least on this monitor it does.

I used to live in Lakewood, just a short hop from Freehold.

The Ray of Light tutorial is fun. It doesn't work for everything but when it does, the effect is pretty nice.
