Lunar conjunction

I missed last night's show, but managed to shoot this tonight. Luna, Jupiter, and Saturn all lined up. 4 shots stacked in PS, f/2.8, 5 sec, iso 100.

    Very nice. I also saw the lineup but didn't have my camera on me. I'm glad someone was paying attention!

    I had to look this up because I always screw up which planets are which, and which bright objects are actually stars not planets. So I went to Sky and Telescope and found out that the brightest one is Venus, the one on the right is Jupiter, and the star under Venus is Spica. ne_nau.gif

    As for the shot, I think it's really great! You should be really proud of this one! nod.gif No way I could do this well.
