This was from today's shoot and the first part of my crazy busy week.

All shot with 5DmkII and 70-200mm f2.8.

    oooh these are so pretty!! Love the laughter and smiles that you captured. I think you probably captured her inquisitive little self there too. Great job!

    Thanks Julie, as ever there were some tired moments and tears as parents sometimes seem to push them to be happy or do something. Most of the time I rather they just play and I capture with at look at me on occasion.

    It didn't help today that as we were walking between locations I was talking to her dad and Kiki came alongside me (I didn't notice) and bashed into my leg as I walked and she fell to the ground. I felt terrible but she was soon OK, just a slight cut to the knee.... oops!!

    I'm here to learn so please feel free to give me constructive criticism to help me become the photographer I desire to be.

    Really sweet. Love her look in #4 with the kitten..., and the backlighting in #3...

    I agree, at this age, I would just prefer to get them as they are. The "posing" can come later. I think parents expect too much of their little ones.
