SmugMug Maintenance Window: Thursday night / Friday mornings

SmugMug's weekly scheduled maintenance window is Thursday nights from 2200 Pacific to Friday morning 0300 Pacific. We always try to use read only mode when possible, your photos and sites will be viewable, but anything that requires updates to the system, won't. Not all weeks will have new features or a need to perform system maintenance.
We publish SmugMug's Status here: http://status.smugmug.com and we will alert our customers to when we're going to use the maintenance window as early in the week that we can, by posting here, and on our SmugMug Status Twitter as well as our other Twitter accounts, SmugMug and SmugMug Pro and our Facebook Page.
We totally understand, downtime isn't fun, and you just might be one of the few that's up in the wee hours of the morning uploading photos. Unfortunately, there are cases in which we really need a time to bring the site down to perform various tasks and upgrade systems. This is one of the low points of the day/week for the majority of our customers, and it also coincides with our marathon feature testing/release night! We apologize if this impacts you.
Hopefully this gives you two gifts: Some extra sleep, and some new features to play with when you wake up all rested the next morning.
We will do our best to keep the work within the window, and we'll post to DGrin Thursday afternoon that we're going to be working that evening.

In my experience they will be back when Smugmug have finished their maintenance.
A gallery I was in the process of uploading to last night when maintenance started only has 6 of the 18 images. I re-uploaded all (the uploader said 6 were already there and not uploaded again) but they have not appeared, 2 hours later.
So I created a second gallery and uploaded all 18, again, and this gallery still shows as empty and needing photos.
I created a third gallery, and uploaded all 18 again. These photos have finally appeared, but the missing photos in the first 2 galleries are still missing.
Email to support has received no reply (other than the autoresponder) 2 hours later.
