I was shooting a hockey game yesterday and during the period break looked outside and noticed smoke across the street. Took a walk over and shot a few images of an apartment complex that was on fire.

The complex was trashed, but everyone escaped with minor injuries. It was a scary thing to watch,i have a new found respect for fire fighters to say the least.

At first I was like, nice color with the fire! Then I saw the b/w one and I love that one the most. Very pretty.

You made the most of the opportunity, taking more than "snapshots" of the scene.

    I particularly like #2, #5, and #7.

Very impressive. Not just snaps as others have said. The B&W conversion adds to the feeling of the photo in my opinion.
