Thumbnail Odd Issue

I've encountered a few issues with thumbnails today. I'll list what I've experienced below.

1) I tried to do a mass gallery thumbnail change from square to original. Though the setting showed that it was successful, the thumbnails were never updated. (waited for a hour or more)

2) Have tried several times to change a specific gallery to the original thumbnails and it does MOST of them. There a few that are clearly not resizing.

Ideas?

    I think I fixed it. I used the tools>many photos> adjust thumbnails and it worked. The issue though that I found is when selecting a single gallery (settings), expanding the changes to multiple galleries and making the mass change there. That did nothing. The other issue was also made from in a single gallery settings area. Perhaps there is an issue when making such changes from within this area?
