My first wedding. They didnt turn out very well could use some advice. They seemed to like them ok.

    Join the ppa and get insurance and an iron clad contract.

    The last thing is to be sued and lose your house.

    I am not a wedding photographer, but I like #1 and #3. #2 is a great idea, but the faces are obscured.

    Besides getting a pretty good magazine each month and being able to say you are a PPA member (which to the unschooled gives you an air of respectability) you can get insurance which will protect you in the event you are sued by someone who, for whatever reason, is unhappy with your product or service. I have never had this happen to me, but have heard horror stories. You can be sued by anyone for anything.

    good first try. practice as much as possible.

    it might be just me, but they all seem a little orange. maybe hanging out at the jersey shore tanning beds a little too much? or could be in your PP.

    another few side notes.

    watch for people in the background of posed photos. they are distracting, dont be afraid to tell people to move.

    dont cut off heads, or hide people behind other people.

    in the last shot, it has a great composition, but i would give a clean cut to the bottom of the flowers (crop it down a little more). It is very distracting to me where the crop is now.

    Just to add what has been said. And trust me, these things are hard to remember. Here are other things:
    Appears the bride is slouching in 1 and doesn't seem to be comfortable or taking it seriously. Also, imho, the girl's dresses are waaay to short to be posing like that. Posing is hard with a big group like that though. Keep at it!!!
