.....these orchids kind of look like some cartoon (alien) character faces. Often times one can see something else in a common everyday object (ie. clouds, flowers, leaves, shadows/light, etc.). Just thought these were kind of interesting crops of the orchids I was shooting. Yes..I was bored and sunk to shooting a potted flower in the kitchen by flashlight for fun. What can I say? :dunno :wxwax I need to get out more often. :rofl

O.K.....maybe it's just me and the pain killers I'm taking for knee surgery? I swear this next one looks familiar. :huh :rofl I think I've seen him hiding baskets with candy and eggs. :thumb

I like them. Good use of your time to learn how light effects our light gathering devices
I do like the more solid blue backgrounds better

Now that last one also proves that modern medicine has either not gone far enough or way to far . On the other hand you could move to Cali and fit right in :lol4

Thanks Ben.......but you're going to have to face the facts. I'm lazy. I wasn't going to drag the camera, tripod, lights etc. out to the front porch again. It was so much easier just to grab a flashlight and shoot the orchids on the kitchen table. You don't like the mini blind background?

I like 'em!
Nice twist on an often shot subject. I like the blinds as a background also. Pop one of those pain killers and suck down a couple of brews really fast and let us know what you see

I love the orchid shots!

Most of my flower pics are of potted plants taken in my dining room, I guess I need to get out more too

Thanks Nappalonia. I think next flower shoot will be at Home Depot. They must have a few dozen orchids in their garden center. I'm not usually the "flower shooting type". I think they are interesting subject matter.....but too much trouble to keep alive here in Flordia. Weeds are much easier to grow down here. :uhoh
