Hey SmugMug....you know what'd be cool?

If we could blog right on our SmugMug account. I'm encountering problems right now with blogging. Blogspot doesn't allow me to disable the right click and save feature. So anyone can take any of my photos. So I have to put a big white X on the photos to discourage that.

I'd love to be able to set up a simple photo blog right inside my Pro account. Blogs are important and I'm finally getting serious about mine.

Any chance I've missed the blog feature, or that one might be coming soon?

So, does SM have any plans on adding that type of feature or is there a way to set up a gallery as a blog?

I don't really know much about blogging, I have visited some blogs of a couple of friends but wouldn't know where to begin myself, but it is something I am seriously considering to open up new opportunities.

I am also considering trying to set up a self fulfilling ordering process as I would like more options for printing, especially in AdobeRGB, but I digress as that should go in another topic/forum.

Back to blogging...
Any areas or links that I should check out to explore the blogging path??

I agree with wibubba!! I created my own little blog using the old Journal style (it isnt much but it does the job that I want at the moment) but it sure would be nice if Smug Mug adds a feature like that

You won't get a date out of smug; that's not their policy.

The good news is that it's not difficult to match your blog to your smugmug site. Andy referred to this thread in his post above - HOW TO match your blog to your smug site (blogger-specific) - you might want to give it a try.

One of the benefits of a blog outside of smug is that it can be used to drive traffic to your smug site.
