Hi Everyone.

My website is www.artisticpixel.co.uk and in my portfolio page www.artisticpixel.co.uk/Portfolio

I have two protected galleries that I would like to place in one folder that can be accessed through the Portfolio gallery page, is this possible?

Create a sub-category in the Portfolio category.
Assign the desired galleries to the Portfolio category and the new sub-category.
This will cause the sub-category to be listed on your Portfolio page and the two galleries will show in the sub-category when you open it.

    Thanks for the reply John.

Is there any other way to do this, as I dont want a whole new sub-catagory area created, i just want one gallery folder to open up and there to be 2,3 or four galleries within the initial Hotel gallery. I tried the sub catogory method and it places the two folders at the top of my portfolio, to me this doesnt look good plus it doesnt represent what i want to get across.
Any advice would be helpful, even if its telling me what i want cannot be done.

    Thank you
    Steve

I guess I really don't understand what you want to end up with because I thought the sub-category was exactly what you asked for. It's a folder that contains those two protected galleries. Please describe in more detail what you want.

    O.K I will try.

When I used the sub catagory it created a whole new area within my Portfolio page above my regular gallery. This housed the two folders (which I wanted) but in a totally seperate area(which I didnt), I want the sub catagory folder to be included in my regular portfolio sitting next to the other gallery folders, the only difference is that when you click on it it shows two clickable folders rather than a gallery. The reason I want this is that it looks all wrong, a sub catagory list sitting above my main portfolio rather than integrated into my main portfolio galleries. I would even prefer the sub catagory area to be placed below the main gallery if thats the least that could be done!?

I hope you understand, if not i can re-create the folders and I will repost link so you can see what I mean. Thanks for bearing with me!!!

    Regards
    Steve

OK, that's easy to solve. Install customization #6 here. It will combine the thumbs for galleries and sub-categories into one unified list.
