Thoughts on the new uploader dialog box...

First of all, I LOVE how Smugmug is always striving to give its customers the best online photo sharing site on the 'net!

Second I love how Smugmug listens to its customers.

Having said that, I prefer the previous upload dialog box. Specifically, I liked the progress bar for individual file uploads. The new uploader doesn't appear to have the progress bar. It also would be good to have a link back to the gallery on the dialog box.

I have to disagree, this looks much better. I would like an hours and minutes estimation/countdown on the whole batch though.

It does, it's called "Done uploading"

We're going to be adding more functionality to the HTML5 uploader, stay tuned. This was an important thing to get out and live, as Java installation is becoming more of an issue out there - it's not standard on many systems now, so we wanted to have something available that is as friction-free as possible.

Link back - use the 'Done Uploading' button.

I posted this in the other thread, but for the OP also..the "done uploading" box didn't show up for me the second time I used this new uploader. The bottom right corner was still clickable despite the lack of a graphic - it did take me back to my gallery. Just a head's up.
