Password mystery

I can't change the password on any of my galleries.
Whenever I try, it simply reveerts back to some kind of master password that cant get rid of. Is this something to do with Quickset?
At any rate, no matter what I do, all the galleries have the same password and I cant change -- or eliminate -- it.
Hope someone can help.
