November Gray.

The U.P. goes gray this time of year. Leaves are gone, just gray trees, gray skies and the promise of snow.

We took a quick trip out to Point Abbaye and camped in a gnarly north wind, coupled with temps you'd likely not want to camp in :D

    I very much like the treatment of the first image. Makes me think of a classy advert. Conveys the sense of the place very strongly, an absence of most of the things we need, except simplicity, solitude, and the inscrutable personality of Nature. I could take it for 24hr.rolleyes1.gif
