Image upload question

How do you get an image, not a link to an image, in a post? Do you have to copy it from somewhere online?

All images I post I simply right click on the image and go down the list to copy image location and paste that into the little yellow box with the mtn that is
up with the Bold (B),Italics (I) and so on......and it will appear in the post as long as your security setting on your website are set to allow sharing.........
