Problem using Be Social with Facebook

I've been trying since last night to connect a photo in this gallery to my Facebook page using the "Be Social" function. I keep getting this response:

"I'm sorry, but I wasn't able to reach Facebook, as they appear to be having technical difficulties right now. Please try your request again later, or notify support if this continues to happen."

Facebook seems to be running normally.

Anyone else having this problem?

    Hi Andy!

    Thanks for getting back to me.

    The setting on my iMac is to accept cookies only from sites I visit.

    I haven't had problems using the be social function with FB in the recent past.

    Sounds like I need to go to the help desk.

    Again I really appreciate the quick response.

    Is there plans on allowing a single image to be shared on facebook without have to link the whole gallery. I would like to choose what I share rather than having to create a facebook only gallery and copy/collect all the images in there.
    Oh and the new browser upload window is a step back for me at least, I liked to see the progress now we only get a wee spinning wheel not very informative.

    Hi AngryScot- you can share a single image now - if you use ShareButton>Get a link and just get a direct link to the image.

    Re: the uploader, you do not have to use the HTML5 uploader :) Click the link, lower left, and choose the Simple Uploader again, you'll have your progress bars. We'll be adding progress bars to the HTML5 uploader, no worries.
