Comments Approval bug

I had a client review a gallery before I shared the URL with our mutual friends. I have comments set to hold for approval. She had 9 photos she wanted removed, and so she left a comment to "please remove". I right-clicked on each photo in the comment's approval page to open in a new tab, then clicked again on the photo to view it in the gallery (instead of the enlarge view, a totally worthless view from my POV), then from the tools tab I selected to delete the photo.
Then I approved the rest of the comments. (Which is a VERY tedious process. Why don't we have "approve all" and "delete all" options so that we can manually approve or delete as appropriate, then "approve all" or "delete all" to deal with the rest of them in a single click? Put this down as a UI problem / feature request, please.) When I finished, this page:

You have no unapproved comments to show.
Which is, of course, a bug. When I delete a photo with one or more comments awaiting approval, it should also remove the pending comment(s) from the total waiting approval.
