I don't ever get to shoot wildlife, and so I don't really have the right EQ for it, but I did manage to get these this weekend.

Taken with a Nikkor 55-200 VR (wide open at ISO 1600 just to get decent shutter speeds). Lightroom 3 has really good noise reduction.

Other than faster glass is there anything else I could have done to make these better?

Its a good set of captures. The comp could be improved on a few of them. #1 is too centered IO would ahve composed it or cropped it so taht the subject was in frame right as he's looking, aimed towards the left. On #4 I would have cropped off the space to the left of the last tree. #8 I would have palced more to the left.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"
