Wasn't sure where to post this, but I'm trying to pinpoint some email problems. testing subscription email notifications.

Would I get a notification if I reply to my own thread? If not, if anyone reading could just reply your random comment of choice, I'd appreciate it

No, you would not.

You should also get only one notification, even if there are more unread posts. After you have read the thread, you should get another notification for the first new post, etc...

You don't get notification of your own replies but you should get notification of this one. Let us know whether you do--I saw another report today of email notification flakiness.

Edit: I see Ivar was responding at the same time I was. Just to be clear, you should have gotten notification of Ivar's post, but unless you looked at the forum between his post and mine, you would not have received notification of mine.

thanks, if one of you could reply one more time (changed my email), I could confirm my issue.

I'm not sure my issue is related to anyone else, but I'm going back and forth with smugmug and google support to figure out why I stopped receiving email from here as well as site generated emails from smugmug (like CSS customizations). So if that person is using google apps for their domain, I would like to talk to them, heh.

alright, thanks guys. confirmed for me at least that something on smugmug or google does not like my domain being hosted at google. sigh...
