problem uploading logo

I have a hidden gallery specifically set for my logo..
When I tried to upload my logo (A very simple white text with no background) it takes my 250x50 dimensions and makes them into that square just like in the thumbnail!?
Why?
The logo is totally unusable like that - It's just the very first letter of my logo magnified.
Thanks for any help.

My guess is that it was a temporary condition (during upload) and if you go back and look again it has now fixed itself.

Does it not look like this for you in your gallery?

Use Originals for pngs and gifs - as we explain here: http://www.smugmug.com/help/upload-photos
So, here's your link to use: http://dcmoodyphoto.smugmug.com/photos/1083269085_gCUiq-O.png

I was already taking one of the file sizes and replacing the letter with an O - it's just that the whole file wasn't showing up before, but now it does. Thank you!
Oh and I have a question about the one that Andy posted. I know it doesn't well fit here being it's the support section, but do you think that logo is too 'unprofessional'?
I'm 17 and in high school, but that doesn't mean I don't want to be taken seriously. I simply like the look of that graffiti-like font.
Anyway, thanks so much for the time, Andy.
(insert suck-up) but really, I love your website. Simple, attractive, and used by about 50% of smugmug it seems
