Nikki and Mike e-shoot
Another stiff couple! ahh well, that's the shakes.
I think they did pretty good though. He just gets goofy when there is a camera pointed at him, and she gets "deer in the headlights" syndrome some. Great peeps though and I can't wait to shoot their wedding next summer in Chi town.
anyway, here are a few faves.

17. The door in the background says "cuvee" which is the place where they first met. It is a champagne bar in downtown Milwaukee. We were originally going to start shooting inside the place. She had it all worked out, but then when she called to confirm the time they told her no. Hopefully this should serve as memory enough.
thanks for looking. c&c please. Enjoy! 3 more sets coming soon if I ever get them done! Then 3 months of (mostly) rest.

#6 is a cool way to get in a ring shot, without actually making it overt. Nice.
Love your processing Matt. Overall, I would think are (or will be) totally thrilled with this set. Bravo!

Yeah, I've gotten the email gush already from them. She told me 9 was her favorite of the set and it is mine as well. I agree with the hand of the face. It stuns me how so many people just aren't physically affectionate like that. Touching is so important in life as well as couple/family photography. I am constantly telling people to get closer and "pretend like you love each other" and with family shots I go around and move peoples hand to shoulders and onto peoples backs or whatever. The power of touch is amazing in life and in photography. Thanks for noticing that Weasel!
I don't normally do composite images like this one, but it was just such a funny part of our time together that I had to make a little story board for them to remember the situation. I told Mike to "push her hair over her ear and stare into her eyes, and then give her a long slow kiss". He starts pawing at her and she says something to the effect of "not like your petting the dog knucklehead, he wants you to be romantic!" We all had a good laugh at that one, but I think in the end the lightbulb turned on for Mike!

#3: Nah ... don't know ... her body is turned away from him, I don't care much for the pose, cute expression, but her legs kill it for me
#4: Cute, but the background is totally distracting in my eyes.
(#5: I'd clone out that UFO above her head on the right )
#8: His arm looks HUUUUGE! Unless he's the hulk, I'd not put this photo in the set
Just as a side note ... he looks HOT in #9 - uhm ... but shhhhhtttt, haha!
#15: Ahhh the background, doesn't cut it for me, somehow #14 works better in my eyes.
#16: Very cool, but the skin(s) are too green for my taste
Very nice set though, gotta say, I'd love them if I were them!
Thanks for posting, haven't seen you on here lately!! Welcome back

Thanks Ang! Good suggestions for the most part. I did go back to the raw file on 16 and pushed the hue a bit. You got me there for sure. Ed hopefully still likes it!! UFO is gone and I burned the reflection out of the window on 15. I went back and forth on that and left it at first.
Anyways, thanks for all the suggestions. I have been busy shooting, processing, and all that life stuff can get in the way too.
