Since I got so many nice comments on my one 'Goodwood shot', I rummaged through my archive and found a few more that you might like......

Here's what an old workshop would have looked like...

My nephew and I used to race a similar car to this one.. we had a BMW 2002 tii..... oh.. MANY moons ago :rolleyes

One of the Talbot's you'll always find on the Revival events

And a 'real' Jag !!

A look from 'behind' the 'paddock'....

The beauty of these events is that you can not only see the cars dsiplayed in the paddock, in all their chrome twinkling splendor...... you can HEAR them, FEEL them and see them doing what they were once made for: RACE !!

These look like our current day Formula Ford or such 'entry' classes.... but these were the Formula 1's of 'my time' :lust

35315132-L.jpg

When sports cars were still CARS !!!

35315133-L.jpg

One of the many Ferrari's that David Piper owns..... RED OF COURSE !!

Okay, I hope I didn't bore you too much with my old-fashioned notin of what 'cars' used to be and 'should be' :D

Kind regards from an old racing driver,
François

Francois, nice classics. A favorite subject of mine so I could never get bored of looking at cars like these. Just wish I could make the revival meeting, always next year.
The Talbot Lago is a beauty and that shot of the Brabham is great, they had some of the nicest and wierdest looking car designs going. The shot of the Ferrari is the my favorite, not sure what model it is. Looks similar to a 250 lm but I don't think it is.

I have a few shots of some classics from Goodwood, not many, if you have no objections I will post them up.
