print preference query

Hi. I'm sorry to ask a personal preference question, but I haven't seen any actual examples of some of the classier print options. My wife really likes this image from one of my visualjason galleries: http://www.visualjason.com/Other/Things/november-2424/1083802263_uss34-L.jpg It's of a fabric design. My wife wants to hang this up. My inclination is to go with a max size giclee canvas, despite the expense, because it's for her, but I really don't know how that compares with metal prints, standard prints or giclee on other materials, especially for an image like this which has distinct vibrant colors without a lot of high res detail other than the fabric seams and texture.
