Hello, I'm new to Digital Grin... and somewhat new to photography. My new best friend is a two month old Nikon D90. A friend lent me his 50mm F/1.4 lens and the following day I had to get one of my own. I'm still learning how to use the camera, and about photography in general. Some friends of mine started playing shows locally here in San Francisco. I brought my D90 with me a few times, and here are some of my favorite shots. At all the places flash was not allowed, so I turned the ISO way up and hoped for the best. In most cases I ended up tweaking the color in Adobe Bridge as well. Iv'e looked through some of the photos posted to this forum and was really impressed. I would love to get your feedback. Thanks!

Hi there and welcome to Dgrin . Concert shooting is a bear, but you've done quite well. I like that you are trying more than the standard shots of the musicians. Looking forward to seeing more of your work.

Thanks Richard! I just took a look at some your galleries, and like your pictures very much. They are all aesthetically pleasing, but the personality behind them is what I like the most.
