    Very nice collages!
I hope to delve more into motorsport photography when I retire. I really like some of your collage ideas. My home track is Summit Point in WV. I race and instruct there. I've also been the Autocross chair for our local PCA Club, and have used photobased trophies for the past couple of years, such as magazine covers or TV screens.

A track-junkie friend of mine recently moved to Austin. I believe Harris Hill is the track he's been frequenting this past summer. His name is Michael Johnson, and he's been driving a Boxster and/or a Jetta TDI.

    I'll bet you're excited about F1 coming to Austin in 2012. :D

Thanks! And yes, VERY excited about Formula One coming to town!

If you could, point our friend to this thread. Really interested in more feedback on the collage work. I do remember a Jetta out on the track before (and of course lots of Boxsters!).

Nice collages. But does someone actually race a Magnum station wagon? :D

Well, I have the pictures to prove it. :D Funny you should mention, as I have a large order being fulfilled for that guy as we speak. He calls it the Station Wagon from Hell. And on the back window is "I love Corvettes, they taste just like chicken". :D

Thanks guys. I did a re-crop on the Porsche, and a posterization adjustment to the Dodge. Plus I made the track logo more brilliant in color, and put a white border around the text of the car name.

Good job! One thing that I have noticed, in my genre at least, is that races are a little more "edgy" than the look you are showing. They like the grunge look and wild designs. Yours are very well done and tasteful. Again, from my experience only.

Cool! That's what I'm going for: grungy, edgy, but still tasteful and well done.

I think the design and layout is brilliant.

Personally i'm not sure about the posterisation effect but who cares?
I'm not a racer and I'm not who your selling to so see what the people taht are going to be buying them say.
If they don't like it, one less step to make the things. :D

Apart from that, they look simple, very effective and damn marketable.
I would think you would do well with them.
Now, if you had a wide format printer and could offer them on site.....You probably won't be able to justify the expense as it seems the racers are pretty tight ar$es. ne_nau.gif
But you would certainly attract some attention over your competition!

If you care to disclose, what are you going to be offering them for?

Anyway, good job and well done.
I hope they are as successful for you as they ought to be.

Thanks, Glort! My initial pricing will be $50 for 10x20 or $55 for 12x24 paper prints. $80 and $90 if on metal print (not metallic paper). I'm going to put together an email blast and offer them at $10 off for the first week or so, around America's "Black Friday" shopping season and see what happens.
