Nice gloomy look. Nice touch with the motion blur on the vanes... :
Dee Can't put one past you....lol
We were just discussing the fact that we hadn't seen you around the forums much. I'm glad Andy's use of blur got you to posting again Since I was sitting in the car while Andy snapped this, the vanes caught my eye right away too
Good work Andy As Gubb points out in your other IR thread, are ya really sure you want to sell that camera :crazy It does IR so nicely
now, *hush* dee, you party-pooper adrain van ammers never would have known that this windmill doesn't actually run
heheh the cool thing about infrared, is the joy of post-processing! thanks for stopping by dee. we waved at you as we passed pacifica yesterday
.... in my mind was, "huh, was this mill actually turning?" Yep, I was pretty sure that it is not working anymore Dee shot this mill and told the story that it needs repair. Great capture, but you can't fool me. Not with windmills.

dump a black paint bucket on the layer mask
use white brush or eraser on the windmill wings
adjust to suit with white/black brush

I like the slight motion freeze of the windmill. Good choice of IR and angle.
