OK, this new smugmap feature is cool. :thumb
However, I'm not sure what happens when we start to "maptag" all our shots. :dunno
You know, how many pink pinheads can a poor GGB hold? Or Yosemite? :scratch
Thus far we all have maybe a few hundreds "maptags" scattered across US. I tagged one. What happens when we actually have time (and tools) to map them all? Yours truly alone can bring thousands...
What do you guys think? Should there be some guidelines? Some limitations (e.g. one map link per gallery)? Some server(smugmug)-based enforcements?
Otherwise - I think we end up with something way worse than this:

Gee Nik,
I think you just started a new art form, "Map Tag Art":D . Now people will see who has the best map pin abstracts ....

Now people would plan they honeymoon shot carefully, so the shots tags would form a huge heart or "I luv ya" text:-):):
We should do one of these for everyone that has bought something from Andybay...i reckon it would look pretty similar
