B & H Sadness anyone know where I can get a Battery?

I just learned i am going on a 17 day long video shoot and I need to buy a new battery for my Panasonic HVX-200a video camera. I called B & H and just spent 15-20 minutes on hold..then it hung up on me and when I called back it said "We are now closed." I didn't know they just hung up on everyone waiting when its closing time. :cry

Anyone know anywhere else I might be able to have a battery shipped to Alaska before the end of this Saturday?

    Problem was I really needed to ask if it would be here before Saturday or on Saturday or if it could be shipped faster. Otherwise I'd do it for sure!

    I am sorry for this and apologize. I believe you want the Panasonic CGA-D54 Lithium-Ion Battery Pack. If you still need this, let me know and I'll be happy to expedite this for you. UPS next-day s&h for one = 26.00.

    I see Henry has already replied. I was just going to say that you can't go wrong with B & H.

    There was an order that I had placed that I required next day shipping. I placed the order after UPS had already made their pickup for the day. I still got my order the next day. :)

    In my opinion, B&H's customer service as a whole as gone way down hill in the past few years.

    Thanks henryp for your reply. I really appreciate it. I was trying not to talk down on B&H because I really have had good service from you guys so far so thanks again.

    henryp how do I get a hold of you? I don't know if its to late now. Its been insanely hectic but even if I don't get to get the battery expedited I still appreciate the offer.

    Not trying to argue, but I have to say that (assuming the truth of your assertion) their service a few years ago must have been truely out of this world.

    Most people evidently would would not agree with you, as evidenced by ResellerRatings. Their six-month rating for B&H is 9.82, while their lifetime rating is 9.63. Seems to me that shows an increase over time.

    Thanks henryp for all your replies. I went out and bought a Canoin 7D instead....yay! Don't quite know how that happened but Yay anyway!

    If it matters any Ive used both Adorama and B&H and although I don't want to bad mouth Adorama either I have had much better luck with B&H. Thanks guys. That hanging up on all the calls that are waiting thing is a bit of a bummer though. I worked tech support before where we would stop taking incoming calls but we had to answer all the holding ones before we could take off. Helped our customers know we cared (even though I'm not sure in Tech support the company actually cared) and it helped us to feel like we finished the day well.
