while uploading - album doesn't exist

Why is this happening? In the middle of the upload, some photos (9-15 images) gets an error message:
Error uploading: Album doesn't exist
and is skipped (with no ability to retry).

The photos before and after them, upload just fine.

Now, I know that my broadband connection did not drop because I have a monitoring system that would tell me if it did drop for even 5 seconds.

I also hate it that I cannot pause and restart those images that were skipped. In the middle of a batch of a few hundred images, it is a pain to go back after everything is done to redo just those images. If we upload the entire folder again, it takes the uploader forever to decide to skip the duplicates. It would be great if we can just click on those images in the queue and tell it to retry uploading it, since it never uploaded anyway.

Sure Andy, I'll do that. However, I am able to re-upload, it is just annoying to have to do it 3-4 times before all 375 images gets uploaded.

It's happened to me too and I think it was because SmugMug went into read only for a moment during my upload. Could that be the case here?

That will trigger it for sure. Be sure to check your upload logs. There's a lot of good info in there as well.

I agree that it's a pain to re-upload skipped images. How about finding duplicates? That's a pain too. You know what would solve all these issues? A better way to upload--FTP. Read about it and vote for it here:
