Nice capture Ric with the one that has a tail. Sounds like the jays are giving you a hard time to capture them... I really like the background in the image as well.

I'm off to the Outer banks this weekend to try to get some migrators. Wish me luck. Prolly won't be any BJs there though.

Actually I did get the whole tail...just not with the pose I wanted or sharp focus, for that matter.
Really is a very pretty BJ, don't think I have ever seen one. Very well done on catching it twice.
