My then and now...
VayCayMom inspired me so i took a look at some old photos and created my own then and now. Interestingly enough it has been almost 3 years since my first DSLR and the beginning of this. So close to the same timeline as VayCayMom as well.
First sleeping children.
Jan 2008, First kid, he still sleeps with that pooh every night.
Nov. 2010, Second kid. Roughly same age in the picture though..
Feb 2008, Nephew's birthday party. Yes it is as green as it looks... I was still in the mode of shooting everything wide open and Jpgs. Had to learn custom white balancing as well.
Mar 2010, Nephew birthday party. new sto-fen knockoff on 430 EX and white balanced and shot in RAW.

2010 Candid. Did have lights set up for other things and adjusted a little for this shot though.

2008, tough guy. This picture has special meaning. Two days prior he fell out his second story window and these scratches were virtually the only damage on him.
2010, no scars on this tough guy, yet...
This was actually a great little experiment to see progress over the years.
