What determines the viewing size of a photo?

When I view my photos in lightbox view and use the right arrow to scroll through the photos, the viewing size occasionally changes even though all the photos are very similar in size. It is a bit disruptive to the viewing experience that the size of the photos changes.

If the viewer does not choose a viewing size, how does "auto" determine the size, and why would it change?

Available screen size, and height/width of the photo. We will fill the screen / window with the largest size we can without scrolling.

So is it a glitch if it changes the viewing size of same/similar sized photos within a gallery while scrolling through? My viewable area is constant, so in theory all the photos should display at the same size, correct?

How about a gallery link so I can see? Also, very important: what browser, and do you have toolbars showing, and what is your screen size?

Most photos show at XL size but then occasionally one will be X2 and will actually have part of the photo out of the viewable area of my screen.

I'm not sure if your wibya toolbar is affecting our calculations or not.
